1314 candidates become cadres in 37th BCS
Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the final result of 37th
BCS examinations after a special meeting on Tuesday.
The preliminary examination of 37th
BCS held in September 30, 2016. 2 lakh 43 thousand 476 examinees took part in that. After primary scrutinize 8 thousand 523 participants passed the examination. But 8 thousand 31 took part in the written examinations. The written examinations started in February 11 last year and ended in May 23. 5 thousand 379 candidates passed the examination.
PSC published the advertisement of 37th
BCS to appoint 1 thousand 226 persons as first class gazetted officers.
PSC Chairman Dr. Mohammed Sadique said, recommendation was made to appoint 1 thousand 314 persons as cadres in 37th
BCS though it was said to appoint 1 thousand 226 persons. Of them 465 were appointed as general cadres, 272 were appointed as General Surgeons and 51 become Dental Surgeons. 316 become cadres in other categories and 210 become education cadres. Besides, 3 thousand 454 were kept in waiting list. They will be appointed after available posts.
