Four technocrat ministers resign

According to the direction of the Prime Minister four technocrat ministers- Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam BSc, Religious Affairs Minister Principal Motiur Rahman, Science and Technology Minister Yafes Osman and Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar have submitted their resignation letters.

Earlier in the afternoon Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said, the Prime Minister has ordered the technocrat ministers to resign.

Then, in the evening Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam BSc at first submitted the resignation letter. After his resignation Religious Affairs Minister, Science and Technology Minister and Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister submitted their resignation letters.

On July 14, 2015 Nurul Islam BSc took oath as a minister under technocrat quota from Chattogram. On that day he was given the charge of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment ministry.
