Results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations under the 10 Education Boards will be published across the country on Sunday.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will announce the results at 1pm at a press briefing in the conference room of his ministry, the Education Ministry sources said. Reports BSS.
Results will be available on the websites of the respective Education Boards and Educational Institutions while examinees will get the results through SMS.
This year, a total of 20 lakh 31 thousand 889 students, including 10 lakh 23 thousand 212 boys and 10 lakh 08 thousand 687 girls, appeared in the examinations.
In 2017, a total of 17 lakh 86 thousand 613 students – 9 lakh 10 thousand 501 boys and 8 lakh 76 thousand 112 girls - took part in the examinations.
The Education Ministry sources said 16 lakh 27 thousand 378 students appeared in the SSC examination under the eight general education boards this year while 2 lakh 89 thousand 752 in Dakhil examination under Madrasah Education Board and 1 lakh 14 thousand 769 in vocational examination under Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
