Joint Convener of Bangladesh General Students Rights Protection Forum Afsana Safa Imu declared that abstaining from classes and examinations will continue until release of the students who led the quota reform movement.

Her declaration came in from a press conference held in front of Rokeya Hall of Dhaka University on Thursday afternoon.

Afsana Safa Imu said, we are in a logical movement. But Chhatra League attacked on the movement. Those who attacked were not detained rather those who did not commit any crime were given remand. We strongly protest this.

She said, we will boycott our classes and examinations until the arrested are released. We will not go to our classes keeping them in jail.

Earlier female students of different halls of the university held demonstration in the campus for their demand of safe campus.
