Moudud isolated from own electoral area: Quader

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said, BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed has become isolated in his electoral area and that’s why he is raising different allegations.

He said these while answering to newsmen after visiting the road construction work at Paduar Bazar area on Cumilla-Noakhali road on Sunady.

Obaidul Quader said, Moudud Ahmed is isolated from people of his electoral area for the last nine years. He does not pursue any development work and even does not come his area. So he is delivering different speech to create issues.

Mentioning BNP does not want treatment of Khaleda Zia he said, Begum Zia is being given the highest facilities in jail as a former prime minister. But the BNP leaders have no concern about her treatment. They are busy with doing politics in the name of treatment.

The minister said, BNP is threatening by not getting people’s affiliation after originating arson attack through not participating in the previous election. 

Obaidul Quader said, BNP has no headache with the politics of Khaleda Zia, they are busy with making new issue of movement in politics after Eid.

Earlier, on June 16 Barrister Moudud Ahmed told newsmen at his Companiganj upazila home that Obaidul Quader is an unelected representative in the parliament, he cannot claim about BNP’s movement. He is not elected by people of his own area.

Moudud also said, ethically this parliament has no legality as well as Obaidul Quader has no legality.
