LDP chief Oli Ahmad under attack

Chairman of Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Dr. Colonel Oli Ahmad (rtd) Bir Bikram was under attack.

A group of miscreants attacked his car and broke the glasses at Chandina College Road area in Cumilla on Thursday afternoon. The incident of attack took place while he was on his way to inaugurate the number two campus of Dr. Redwan Ahmed University College at Chandina.

Former state minister and LDP Secretary General Redwan Ahmed complained to Rtv online in such a way.

He said, the Awami League leaders suddenly attacked on us. They vandalized the car but Oli Ahmad was unhurt. A group of 20 to 25 people were passing through us chanting ‘Joy Bangla’ slogan. They suddenly attacked the car of Oli Ahmad.

Oli Ahmad said, the incident took place in front of police. I am a freedom fighter. Attack was originated on my car. Daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Hasina is in power. Let’s see what role she would play.

Officer in Charge of Chandina police station Md. Shamsul told Rtv online, we have heard the news. But action will be taken after getting written complaint on who originated the attack.
