PM consoles parents of Nusrat

Family members of Feni madrasa girl Nusrat Jahan Rafi visited the Prime Minister. Nusrat, a Sonagazi upazila madrasa female student was burnt to death by miscreants.
On Monday morning Nusrat's father AKM Musa, mother Shirin Akter and two brothers met the Prime Minister at her office in the capital.
At that time the Premier consoled the family members and expressed deep condolence. She said, the miscreants involved in the murder will not be spared. She also assured about all types of assistance for the family of Nusrat.
On March 27 police arrested the principal of Sonagazi Islamia Fazil Madrasa Maulana Siraj Ud Dowla over allegation of sexually assaulting Nusrat by calling her at the office room of the principal. After that incident the principal is still in jail.
On April 6 Nusrat went to the madrasa to take part in the Alim examination. At that time some people loyal to the principal created pressure on Nusrat to withdraw the case. As she refused to withdraw the case they set fire on Nusrat's body. In this connection Nusrat's elder brother Mahmudul Hasan Noman filed a case with Sonagazi model police station accusing eight persons including principal Siraj Ud Dowla and municipal councilor Maksud Alam.
On April 10 Nusrat who was severely burnt succumbed to her injuries at the Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
