Body of war crimes case witness Sumon recovered

The dead body of Sumon Zahid, son of martyred journalist Selina Parvin was recovered.

His dead body was recovered from Khilgaon Bagicha area on Thursday noon.

His head was separated from the body at that time.

His body was kept at DRP (Railway police) police station at Kamalapur for spot investigation.

Sumon was the witness of anti humanitarian case filed against fugitive Chowdhury Mainuddin and Ashrafuzzaman Khan in the international crimes tribunal. 

He used to work in the Farmers Bank, a private bank of the country.

Officer in Charge of DRP, Kamalapur police station told Rtv online, Sumon Zahid was a passerby. His body was crushed under train at around 10 am. The people of the surrounded area also said that. We have recovered his body at around 1 pm.
