Chief of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit (CTTU) and Additional Commissioner of police Monirul Islam said, so far we know there is no cap for the international militant organization Islamic State (IS). They did not make any cap from the birth of IS to till at present. We will analyze the matter whether they have any cap or not.
He said these to the newsmen while deliver his reaction in a post-verdict press conference at Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) media center in the capital on Wednesday.
Monirul Islam said, it will be investigated whether such cap came in the court room due to negligence of somebody.
He said, the terrorists have got a message through this verdict. Nobody would dare to commit such crime in future.
Earlier, at around 12 pm Judge of Dhaka Anti Terrorism Special Tribunal Md. Mojibur Rahman awarded death penalty for seven accused in connection with Holey Artisan militant attack case. After delivering the verdict when the convicts were being taken to the prison van two militants were seen wearing caps with logo of Islamic State.
