Gold fair in Khulna to legalize undisclosed gold
Gold fair is going to begin in Khulna to legalize the undisclosed gold. The fair is going to be organized by Khulna taxes zone on June 24 and 25 at taxes building.
To implement the initiatives of National Board of Revenue (NBR) to legalize the undisclosed gold this fair is going to be organized.
NBR said, the gold traders can legalize their gold ornaments by giving one thousand taka tax for per bhori gold ornaments in the fair. Gold traders of Khulna have welcomed this initiative of taxes zone.
It is known from Khulna tax zone, according to the notification of NBR on May 28, by giving one thousand taka tax for per bhori gold, six thousand taka for per carat diamond and 50 taka for per bhori silver those can be legalized. The opportunity will be available till June 30 to make those legal for one year. Gold fair is organized to make the activities easy.
Khulna taxes zone Commissioner Prashanta Kumar Roy told the newsmen, the fair is organized so that businessmen can get benefit easily. There will be no problem later if gold is made legal for one time.
Khulna district president of Bangladesh Jewelers Samity Shayama Prasad Karmakar said, it is a good opportunity for the businessmen. Many gold traders still do not know the matter. So it needs to extend duration of the fair.
