Prices of 22, 21 and 18 carat gold have been increased by one thousand 166 taka per bhori within one and half month time difference in the country’ market as prices of those have gone up in the international market.
Bangladesh Jewelers Samity (Bajus) delivered the information in a notice saying, the prices will be effective from Sunday. Earlier prices of gold were increased on September 11. But price in the old method remained unchanged. This quality gold is selling at 29 thousand 160 taka per bhori.
According to the new prices, price of 22 carat gold per bhori is fixed at 58 thousand 28 taka. Which was 56 thousand 862 taka per bhori till Saturday. Price of 21 carat gold per bhori is fixed at 55 thpousand 696 taka, which was 54 thousand 529 taka per bhori till Saturday. In the same way price of 18 carat gold per bhori is fixed at 50 thousand 680 taka, which was selling at 49 thousand 513 taka per bhori till Saturday.
