The authority has decided to keep Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) closed on next Friday due to the beginning of the countdown of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary celebration.
Organizer of the fair Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Deputy Director and fair organizing committee Member Secretary Abdur Rauf delivered the information to the media on Monday.
Abdur Rauf said, the countdown of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary will begin on January 10. For that reason the trade fair will be kept closed. Besides, on Wednesday the fair will begin at 12 pm instead of 10 am. The fair will continue as usual on the other days.
Different firms from Bangladesh as well as from Thailand, Iran, Turkey, Nepal, China, Malaysia, USA, UK, India, Pakistan, Hong Kong, South Korea, South Africa, Germany, Australia, Bhutan, Brunei, UAE, Italy and Taiwan are taking part in the fair.
