Now hacking can be traced anywhere in Bangladesh: Joy
Information and Communication Technology Advisor to the Prime Minister Sajeeb Wazed Joy said, from now we will be able to trace hacking if it takes place anywhere in Bangladesh.
He said this while inaugurating the startup accelerator and two labs at the ICT Tower at Agargaon in the capital on Thursday.
Sajeeb Wazed Joy said, through inaugurating these labs and startup accelerator Bangladesh steps forward in the digital technology. We are able to monitor critical infrastructure of the government.
Expressing lamentation he said, the incident of hacking in Bangladesh Bank can be prevented if the system is installed few years back.
Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar, State Minister of ICT Division, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, secretary of ICT Division Juena Aziz, Executive director of Bangladesh Computer Council, Parthapratim Deb were also present during the occasion.
In a press release of the Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology ministry said, the startup Bangladesh accelerator and labs were established by Bangladesh Computer Samity under ICT division.
It also said, it is the country’s first international quality software quality testing and certification center and also government’s first accelerator and computer incident response team lab which will create one thousand inventory commodities or services by the year 2021.
Through establishing quality testing and certification center opportunities are created for testing quality of software, mobile apps, computer hardware.
