BNP leaders Aman-Alam arrested

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested two central leaders of BNP. They are BNP Chairperson’s Advisor and Vice Chairman of the party Aman Ullah Aman and BNP National Executive Committee Member Nazim Uddin Alam. They were arrested from Mohakhali DOHS in the capital on Friday night.

RAB Media Wing Director Mufti Mahmud Khan said, they were arrested over allegation of attack on police. 

Earlier in the night BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi alleged that RAB has picked up Aman Ullah Aman and Nazim Uddin Alam.

According to the party source, RAB-1 cordoned off the house of Nazim Uddin Alam at Mohakhali DOHS after Friday evening. BNP Chairperson’s Advisor Aman Ullah Aman was also there. RAB took them away at 9:15 pm.

Police are arresting BNP leaders and activists following BNP’s attack on police in the High Court area on Tuesday.

The party has claimed that the number of arrested persons is more than 275.
