People suffer while fasting, temperature may rise further

After departure of cyclone ‘Fani’ the hot spell has increased. In this situation people are suffering while fasting throughout the day. But the meteorological department is saying that temperature may rise further in the next two days.

Meteorologist Bazlur Rashid said on Thursday that mild to moderate heat wave is blowing over the country and that will continue.

He said, temperature may rise further in the next two days but there are chances of rain on May 12 and 13.

On Wednesday the highest temperature 38.8 degree Celsius recorded in Jashore and Chuadanga. The highest temperature 35.6 degree Celsius was recorded in Dhaka.

Meanwhile, at 9 am in the weather forecast of next 24 hours it was said, temporary gusty wind along with rain with thunder shower may occur in some parts of Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. Besides, weather may remain dry with partially cloudy sky in other parts of the country.

About heat wave it said, mild to moderate heat wave is blowing over Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Rajshahi, Naogaon region and Khulna division and that will continue.
