Khaleda Zia weak but no major complexity: Brig. Mahbub
Director of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital Brigadier General AK Mahbubul Haque said, there is pain in BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s legs which is joint pain. Besides, she is weak and has loss of appetite. She cannot sleep properly. There is no major complexity except these.
He said these at a press conference after admitting Begum Khaleda Zia in the hospital on Monday.
The BSMMU Director said, the medical board members have met Khaleda Zia to provide treatment for her. They have heard details from the BNP Chairperson. Following conversation and after analyzing those they have issued prescription. She is a diagnosed diabetic patient. Her sugar level has increased and the Random Blood Sugar was 14.
He said, one physician will discharge his duty to provide treatment for Khaleda Zia every day. He will look after her treatment as well as submit progress report.
Brigadier General Mahbub also said, Khaleda Zia frankly spoke to the medical board members. She took the prescription from the medical board in well manner.
