Quader leaves hospital after one month

Obaidul Quader is leaving hospital in Singapore.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has got the discharge certificate from Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. He had been undergoing treatment there since March 4.

Bridges division Information Officer Sheikh Walid Fayez informed the media that Obaidul Quader got the discharge certificate from the hospital at 1: 45 pm Bangladesh time on Friday.

Sheikh Walid also published a video of the minister. It was seen in the video that the minister wearing white panjabi and black coat was getting on a private car. At that time Obaidul Quader waved his hand to the people present there. 

Earlier road transport and highways division Deputy Chief Information Officer Abu Naser Tipu said, though the Awami League General Secretary has left the hospital but he is not going to return to the country at the moment. He has to stay in Singapore for some more days for follow up treatment.

He said, he (Quader) is well at the moment. After being discharged from the hospital he moved to a nearby rented house. He will get the follow up treatment according to the suggestion of the physicians from there.

On March 3 Obaidul Quader was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital with complain of breathing problem. There he was diagnosed with three coronary artery blockages. He was shifted to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore for better treatment on the following day. There on March 20 his bypass surgery was performed. As his condition turned better on March 26 he was moved the cabin from the hospital ICU.
