A new political platform has been declared led by former president of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir and expelled Jamaat leader Majibur Rahman Manju.
On Saturday at a press conference he declared the new organization named ‘Jana Akangkhar Bangladesh’ to establish rights based welfare state with some reformist leaders of Jamaat.
Manju claimed that their organization will not be the organization based on religion. It will be formed comprising representatives from entire population. To form a full-fledged party five committees were formed. Those committees have begun their work. He is performing his role as the coordinator of this initiative.
Manju also said that it will be a separate course based on independent initiative and not will be the follower or preferring course of any present political party. In this regard he said, we have no relation with any existing political party of the country including Jamaat-e-Islami. This political party will be inclusive in real meaning and political activities will be to build a positive Bangladesh.
Former president of Islami Chhatra Shibir Majibur Rahman Manju was also president of Chittagong College and Chittagong University unit Shibir. Before his expulsion he was the member of Jamaat central Majlishe Sura.
