Obaidul Quader returning home on Wednesday evening
After completing his treatment in Singapore Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader is returning in the country on Wednesday evening. Bridges division Information Officer Sheikh Walid confirmed the information to Rtv online.
Sheikh Walid said, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader will return in the country on May 15. It is expected that he will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 6 pm on a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
In the early morning on March 3 Obaidul Quader was admitted at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital with breathing problem. We was taken at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital at first and later shifted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). Later he was diagnosed with three coronary artery blockages.
As his condition was a little bit static then on March 4 Obaidul Quader was shifted to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore boarded on an air ambulance. After that he is recovering. In the meantime he was discharged from the hospital. Currently he is in Singapore. Physicians of the hospital are inquiring about his health condition on a regular basis.
