Govt won’t do inhuman act like killing Khaleda Zia: Quader
Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said, Sheikh Hasina government will not do the inhuman and brutal act like killing BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia without treatment.
He said these while replying questions of newsmen at a press conference organized at Awami League president’s political office at Dhanmondi in the capital on Friday.
Obaidul Quader said, Sheikh Hasina government is not inhuman. Khaleda Zia is in jail due to legal reason. The government will not do the inhuman and brutal act of killing her without treatment.
While responding a question how the relation of Bangladesh will be with India after landslide victory of BJP - Quader said, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this period secured a historic victory. He has gone beyond the speculations. Our Prime Minister has greeted Narendra Modi, she also sent a message.
Quader said, many unresolved problems were solved during the last term of Modi government. Solving border problem between the two countries was the proof of brevity and discretion of last Modi government. This time Narendra Modi has got confidence of his country’s people more than the previous. We hope the unresolved matters including Teesta agreement will get pace to solve.
He said, no beneficiary will be allowed to enter in the party centering the upcoming council. Our party decision is clear- tested, self denying leaders and activists will be brought into the leadership from the grassroots. No opportunist will get chance.
