Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said, Awami League has nothing to do in the crisis moment of Jatiya Party. They will fix who will be their chairman or who will be the opposition leader. Awami League is not going to interfere in Jatiya Party’s affairs.

He said these at a program organized by Juba League at Engineers Institution auditorium at Ramna in the capital on Friday.

He or she whom the government wants will be the opposition leader- in response to such comments of BNP leaders Obaidul Quader said, it is a lie. The opposition leader will be made according to the rules and the Speaker will elect him or her. Here our party has nothing to say. We do not want to interfere in internal matter.

He said, the irresistible development activities of Sheikh Hasina have fallen BNP into political crisis. Politics does not mean playing with arms, it means serving people after learning lessons. The Prime Minister is accepted throughout the world. The politicians think what will happen in the next election but Sheikh Hasina thinks what will happen for the next generation.

In response to a question Obaidul Quader said, 16 candidates from Awami League have submitted nomination forms for the Rangpur-3 by-election. The meeting of the nomination board will be held on Saturday. There is none from the Bangabandhu family among the candidates. We will finalize the candidate among our leaders and activists.
