Steve Rhodes new coach for the tigers

The waiting for the new coach is over for the tiger team members. Steve Rhodes came as a name of comfort after driving away the rush for a coach.

Bangladesh was in search for coach for the last six months. The Hathurusingha chapter ended with the South Africa tour of Bangladesh. Hathuru went according to his will.

After that Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) failed to appoint new coach for the last six months. Then three series went without head coach.

Then BCB sought help from former Indian coach Gary Kirsten. He was given the responsibility to bring the new coach.

The name of former England player Steve Rhodes came in the list of BCB according to the suggestion by the protea legend.

The sudden left out wicket keeper cum batsman from English team who played 11 test matches and 9 one day international reached in Dhaka on Thursday morning.

Rhodes played his role as a coaching staff for the England national cricket team in 2016. He also performed his duty as a Director of Worcestershire and also provided coaching for the county team.

BCB is looking at the World Cup 2019. Because it is scheduled to be held in England. So it may be said that it will be easier to set planning for the world cup centering a person who is in prime role for an English team.

Then after the world cup of short format is scheduled to be held and for that the agreement was signed till 2020. BCB chief Nazmul Hasan Papon confirmed the matter.
