Tigers steady to win series against West Indies

Bangladesh scored 96 runs after losing one wicket in the second ODI match against visiting West Indies at Mirpur in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Winning the toss like the first match, the visitors chose to field first.

Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim have steadied the hosts after the loss of Imrul Kayes's wicket. Meanwhile, opener batsman Liton Das went off with an ankle injury.

Bangladesh are expected to put all-out efforts to clinch the ODI series by winning today’s second ODI while the West Indies will struggle heart and soul to escape from series losing.

The match is the 100th international game of Mashrafe, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad.
