At the 12th minute Sirat Jahan Swapna scored the first goal for Bangladesh. She took the pass from Ankhi Khatun. On the 30th minute the second goal came from the touch of head by Krishna Rani from a corner.
The Bangladesh girls continued attacks throughout the match. But the team of Mishrat Jahan Mousumi could not score more goal following some mistakes and for outstanding performance of UAE goal keeper Aya Walid Malalla.
In total Bangladesh took 33 shots in the opponent bar and the Arab country took only two. Bangladesh possessed the ball 72 per cent of the total time.
In the group stage second and last match the hosts will face Kirgizstan on April 26 (Friday).
